Hey guys. so ièm trying to get ride of my xecuter mod chip that is acting up. it is sodderless and everytime i start my xbox(almost) i have to open it up and fiddle with the little pin. i have tried using the one-click softmod install on the dvd using the following steps:
Boot with AID disk
run one click setup softmod
once it finishes i let it shutdown
start it up in the modchip menu to lock the HDD then shutdown again
open up the xbox and remove the chip
try to boot up.
i see the xbmc splash screen then i get a spinning green circle in the right hand corner of the screen and it goes no where.
i have also tried using the one click mod chip install leaving the chip in but the same thing happens.
what am i doing wrong. i have run out of ideas anyone can help me?

sorry for this post it seems to work now...i tried it again after posting this but this time after the screen was blank i pressed a button on the controller wich made a sound...so i popped in one of my burnt games(ultimate spider man) and it loaded no problem....once i took the disc out and rebooted the xbox everything worked perfectly. kinda odd but oh well no more finiky mod chip so i'm happy
