How do you split .rar archives into smaller pieces.Let's say i have a 2 gig archive and i want to split it into 4 500mb archives, how would i do that?
just right-click the file you want to compress, click 'Add to archive' and in the window that opens, there should be a pull-down menu in the bottom left corner saying 'Split to volumes, bytes'. Enter the number in bytes that you want each volume to be or select one of the options from the drop-down menu itself. _________________ T3CH SVN BUILD update guide

If you are posting your archive onto a site (torrent rapidshare etc, I think the max size is 100mb per file. Check the rules before posting there or you might get banned.
