Ok,
Just lately there's been a few people asking about and looking for ROM's. As such, I thought I'd make this post to reiterate the legality issues.
Xbox-HQ does not, in any way shape or form, support the infringment of copyright. This goes for games, or ROM's. Downloading a game/ROM that you do not own, is ILLEGAL. We at HQ will never supply games/ROM's, nor will we direct you to any site that does so.
Any member found to be doing any of the following will have topics locked and face a possible ban:
- Supplying address of illegal download sites.
- Sharing copyrighted material.
- Looking for places to download copyrighted material.
Xbox-HQ takes this matter very seriously and runs a Zero-tolerance policy. You have been warned.

Very true, these topics on this matter is showing up more lately.
My two cents on the matter though. Why does nintendo care if I download a ROM for a nes game that came out in 1986? It's not like their making money off selling the games anymore so I think it should be free game. How I it is this: If the game is still in print and the company is still making money it should be illegal. For games that are old and not even in print anymore it should be legal to download for free. It's really spreading the wealth of old games that may make you buy a new title in that series.
