So, it's been along journey so far.

I've bought a 750gb HDD and installed it in my Xbox (v1.4).
Through the latest Auto-Installer Deluxe I've installed XBMC as Dash.

With some help from others I've managed to discover that I need to change my BIOS.
Because my Xbox is not responding to the changes I make in XBP(v1.1).

So, Bomb Bloke (a user over at another forum) sent me "EvoX M8 LBA48 256k.bin" and the flash app he usually uses.
The flash app starts up, EVOX logo shows in the back and "Flash BIOS"
When I press "Flash BIOS", "EvoX M8 LBA48 256k" shows up.
I press that and it starts flashing.
BUT... just after 1 second it hangs at:

"Manufacturers ID 09 Device ID 00
!! Unknown Flash Type !!"

And nothing more happens Sad
Is the BIOS wrong or doesn't the Flash App fit my Xbox?

The only thing I know about my TSOP is that it says Xecuter 2 under the Xbox-logo after the "flubber"-start up.

And that my current BIOS is X2 4983.06
Is there a way I can check which TSOP I have?

What can I do? This is the last thing that stops me from formatting my F-partition with XBP Sad
Here's some info from my previous posts at other forums, if it should help:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I've just installed a 750gb HDD in my ol' Xbox.

But I've heard that you need to format F:/ and G:/ using XBPartitioner before start putting stuff on them.

When I start XBPartitioner, this comes up:

!!!!!!!!!! WARNING !!!!!!!!!!!!
LBA48 info not found! Custom Partitions will not work with this BIOS!
Update your BIOS to one which supports at least LBA48 version 2.

My Xbox is TSOP flashed, and BIOS checker says that I have BIOS x24983.06."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"This is what BIOS Checker tells me:

CHIP TYPE -> ST M29F002BT70N1 (TSOP?)
Using genuine BIOS-> X2 4983.06
BIOS MD5 Hash-> CDD618F786CE0C880BC651D50B999E2E"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The last five numbers in my Serial is 34305.
MFG Date: 20031023.

It's a v1.4.

Not if it'll help, I have the X3 chip and using the bios build 3294, though it sounds like you have the X2 chip. In which case try this link

That guide wont help since you have a TSOP and in order to reflash the TSOP you need to make sure the points on the mobo are still soldered and use AID to flash it again, this is a risky task to say the least.
