hey i have had a softmodded xbox for quite some time now, and to be honest i havent really touched it since i got my 360, i believe it has evox on it and im just trying to get rid of it. i have no more xbox modding programs on my computer and i was wondering if anyone had files to create a restore disc, so to speak, for the xbox so i can get rid of the softmod, all the game saves, everything, just so its back to factory conditions.
p.s. sorry i had no idea where to post this i scrolled up and down the forum a few times and just decided to throw it here

You can download aid and burn it to disk, it has an app that will put the xbox back to stock for you.
hey, do you think you can be more specific in which files i have to burn? tad confusing on what i need to set up. sorry to be a pain in the @$$ but i need this done semi-quickly

You need to download the files that are for AID, Once you have files there is a text doc that explains how to create a AID disk. with this you can restore to factory.

hey, sorry last dumb question then i promise im done. Which option is it exactly that restores my xbox to original factory settings? i have the disk and now im just a tad confused...

Just repartition the whole HDD and install the MS dash onto the C:\. Easiest way to put it back to stock (if you don't know 100% how to do this, ask us first, because you can screw your xbox up if you don't put the ms dash on after you reformat the hdd). _________________

reformat, install ms dash... do i need those 5000 ish files on the disk or does aid 4.30 have it?

sorry to double post but everytime i use dvd decrypter to write the ISO to the CD-RW it wont load on my xbox even after i cold boot it... anyone have an idea? i have a phillips drive

Burn it to a DVD -r, see if that helps at all. _________________
