I need some help softmodding. I have original copies of both Mechassault and Splinter Cell. I have a XBOX to USB controller adapter. I have action replay on pc, and a memory card. I downloaded SID 2.0 and 4.0 from the internet. I transfered it to the xbox. My dashboard version is 5960. My problem is that when I select Linux profiles in both games the screen goes black and the green xbox circle turns from green to orange. I wait 2+ minutes for linux to boot but nothing. I have gone to many websites and youtube tut. but i cant figure out what is wrong. Can someone please help me???

How many files did you add to the xbox mem in all and what are they named? _________________
Delete them and then transfer the back to your xbox...that one is obvious maybe only partial of the file copied try only transfering one file at a time....if that doesnt work make sure ur not using the platinum editions of the games _________________

Might be the device you are using to transfer the saves, some off brand mem cards and thumb drives have been known to corrupt the files. _________________

Just got another mem card, looks like wes213's on youtube vid. How did you put it on mem card? if put mem card into controller and onto pc then where can i get the drivers? It is a gamester 8mb.

I got it all figured out, it was the mem card thanks for all the help!!!!

Good to see you got it bro, i was lucky and had a chiped xbox fist so i used that to put the save files on my card.
