ok, i've modded mine, my son's, and my brother's xbox's. all has gone perfectly with the help of HQ.
now, my brother was playing on MAME (robocop, don't ask me why) he said when he backedout of MAME the xbox reset itself and now it just keeps on reseting when the big green X shows up, before it says microsoft.
I had this issiue once, before i downloaded FinalCloud's trainers i got some from another site, put them in the trainers folder and they made my xbox reset over and over. so, i put my AID disc in and it loaded sraight to disc and i got rid of them. problemsolved.
but now my brothers will only load xbox games ( he doesn't have any burnt copies to try) but not the AID disc, i had him burn it on DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW.
it won't read any of them, his Splinter Cell exploit is still on his HDD so is buying a copy of SP his only option?

His xbox may not be able to read the brand of DVD-R he is using.
What I would do Is start up the xbox and put in a xbox game. Get to the menu of the game then eject and put in the AID disc. See if it will boot up then. _________________

it didn't work, with any of the media (it took longer to reset with the +r) so i just bought him SP on ebay he can try that. thanks anyway darth.
load the splinter cell exploit and then redo the mod...it should fix the problem...it sounds like the dash got corrupted _________________
