Hello, this is my story, I'm trying to softmode an xbox.
Already have Splinter Cell, the action replay and the memory card, and a 500gb HDD for later.
Already intalled the action replay soft on my PC, but whem conecting to the usb socket on PC is not recognize. Is it that I'm doing somethig wrong or vista doesn't allow the drivers to install.

Thank you SN1P3R8 I did all that but Vista won't let me isntall the driver, I had to isntall XP on another PC and got it to work.
I did my first softmode.
Now will I be able to upgrade the HDD with a 250gb one and how. _________________ Kacike61

OK Guys The xbox is softmoded, I used the SID4 is there any way I can start the process all over again and this time use SID5, and on the HDD how big can I go I have a 250GB IDE, And a 500GB SATA.

In the AID disk under the softmod section there is an option to return the xbox to stock and then just re build it with SID, all the info on F and G (if you have a G) will still be there.
As for size you can go up to 1TB but i would keep it at no more then 500GB since they tend to act up the larger you go. _________________

No problem wes213, but for the momnet I'm stock.
Using the AID 4.3 disk I uninstalled the softmode, then fallow the direction to softmode again this time using SID exploit since I used SID4 last time, when i get to the part where the contents of the memory card have to be copy to the xbox HDD I get only the delete option, any ideas Guys.

Sorry for the late responce wes213, the video did help me, the softmoding is done, and HDD upgraded with a 250GB one, next is to install the xbox in to my car.
By the way wes213 do you or any other member here knows if a power inverter can be wire to turn on and off when the head unit starts, like an amplifier?

Lots of power inverters work off the cars cig lighter and the cig lighter wont turn on till the car is on, just wire it in to that. _________________

Well just to follow up on this project I'm doing, all the hard part is done. The softmoded Xbox is in my car and working good, it's powered by a cheap Coleman 400w power inverter which has the (+) feed straigh from the bateery with a 40amp fuse in between, the (-) to the car ground.
Also I wired to a power relay for automatic ON/OFF with the head unit.
I have a Kenwood DX6019 double din with navi.
Just wanted te let you guys know that thanks to you I pull this off.
