Hey, i decided to fix my soft mod with a good old fashion mod chip. I have decided to get the Xecuter 3 (solderless of corse). I had heard you can update and install bios for it from the AID 4.3, I was just woundering how exactly that worked and which bios to use as there are many on the disk. Thanks to anyone with any information Smile

You just turn off the flash protect and set your switches to a 1mb bank pop in AID and select the BIOS flash.
X3 3294 is what im running on mine.

Ok sweet. Now is the x3 like other chips in that it needs to be flashed as soon as it is installed?

Also i plan on useing another x3 i will buy to up grade hdd in xboxes i am making for friends. What hdds are best to use? I know i need either ultra ATA or EIDE, but are there more epecific?

You need to make sure the HDD is lockable.

Try looking over the list of HDDs.
