Is there a way to install a bigger hdd in my softmodded xbox without a pc i only have 2 laptops at home right now Sad.
i can borrow another softmodded xbox and use hotswap or something was my idea,i actually got the xbox starting SC with the other HDD in it but it can find the expoit savefiles for some reason Sad(with help from file manager in SID 4 and using hotswap from the other softmodded xbox)

lol, of all the versions, I hoped 1.6 wasn't the one you said lol.

Versions 1.0 - 1.5 are easily upgraded using a program called Chimp. Its designed to upgrade HDD's and works very easily and quickly. However, on v1.6 Xbox's, the video chip in the box means that the display on Chimp does not work, instead turns the screen green.

Chimp can still be used, but it will involve telnetting into the Xbox to do it. Below my sig is a guide for Chimp. If you scroll to the bottom of that you'kll find a link to using Chimp on a v1.6 box. Follow that and see how you go.

OMG finally i found the thing i been locking for i guess...
now i just solved my first problem using ur guide , first i needed to install telnet in windows vist not a real problem thou but then when i started chimp my xbox frezzed before the sceen turned green and i couldnt telnet to it but tht was because i was using XBMC as dashbord dont know it every1 has problem but i had problems running other apps in xbmc too before so just usedd SID4 and installed evolution X on e drive and started it and with evo X chimp started fine and o could connect properly.

BTW when i say SID i meant AID ofcourse Razz
