Hello, I've been scanning hundreds of forums for the past week. And to tell you the truth, I've tested most things there are to test. I'm unable to find an answer to my problem wich i'm pretty certain theres a simple fix to it. Just so you know, i'm not making a topic before searching for answers. (Yes i'm a complete noob when it comes to consoles)
I've got a regular Xbox, dont know the version. I had a guy chip my xbox a while ago.
Now, i just want to be able to burn xbox games and store them in my xbox. I'm not even able to play them, Now i've got flashfpx and simplexiso and xiso mananger. But tbh. I'm not able to get it to work.
I've repackaged a few Iso Xbox games. Burned them to a DVD-RW cd. And when try to play the game, The xbox dosen't recognize the cd. Allthough, In my chip bios, i'm able to find the cd (in the flash option) Butn ot able to click the Iso itself, or well, nothing happends anyawys. So it finds the cd anyways. Uhm, and ye. I even tried to unpack the game onto a dvd-rw and tried to play it that way. As you can see, i'm not getting anywhere, And i'm getting pretty desperate.
I dont want people flaming me, just a guy looking for some help. And the nr one reason i've not fixed it myself is probably that i'm my english isnt that advanced. And theres a ton of terms out there i really dont understand i just kept getting lost. So the simpler replies the better

Does it play the original disk that you're getting the backup from? _________________

Original disk? Backup? >.> As i said, i'm a total noob. I'm able to play original xbox games ^^

Just found a linux Cd with the chip i installed.

What for, like what can it do?
It might just be the CD or dvd format you are using to make you back ups (aka copy's) i use dvd-r and qwix 101 _________________
It does find the cd content though, And the For example "Crash Bandicoot.iso" File. >.> And regarding my linux,(It boots like, a computer In linux Though, Maybe i can send the games to the xbox through lan or sumthing, (Cant find where to change the ip adress on the xbox though)

what dash are you running, we need a bit of info on your set up.

Turn the xbox on and post me a pic of the screen, most will say right on the screen Evox,avalaunch,unleashX,XBMC what ever it may be. _________________

You need to install a bios to the chip, if you down load the AID ISO and burn it to disk you can put that in the xbox and use it to flash a bios to the disk and set up the HDD to boot to a dash for you. _________________
Cant seeme to find a reliable download for aid, And found alot of diff versions aswell :/ Thanks alot for you help., I'll try it, Mind giving me a direct link?
