Hi All,
I am trying Sofmod my xbox.
At this point I have two issues:
1) My xbox does not have the latest Firmware. I read that with HALO 2 you could update this. I have Halo 2 but do not see a posibility to upgrade the new firmware. Any Idea how to do this?
2) It seems my memorycard is not supported to install the save games on it. My colleague is willing to copy them to the memorycard using his modded xbox (using ftp). Do you know were to save the games on the xbox so that he can move them to the memory card in the original Xbox menu?
Thanka a lot
Cheers
Roger

Welcome to the HQ, we hope you enjoy this and all the other HQ sites we offer.
Pop in halo with the xbox un-hooked from the net and select to go on live and it should update for you.
To copy saves just find the save you want and select it when you get to the screen Ware the only option is to delete the save push D-pad right and you should see the option to copy.

Thanks a lot for your response, I was able to updat the Firmware now.
I think I was not very clear with the save game.
My colleague needs to know where to copy the save game on the xbox itself.
So he ftps to his xbox and copies the save gam from his PC to the xbox. In which directory (file structure) on the xbox does he needs to copy it, so when he boots the normal xbox console he can copy it to the memory card.
Thanks

Once he has FTP-ed the saves to his xbox then he can just open the file manager and pop in the mem card he will see a new drive pop up (thay drive will be your mem card) and he can just add the saves to it.
