I been gone for so long I haven't followed xbox scene, been more into xbox 360 but is it safe to go online with a chipped xbox 1 as long as you are playing originals?
if not ill go buy a non modded one for online play

I think as long as you have not changed anything in the C and E drive and you turn off the mod chip it will work.
I cant say 100% since i always used xlink kai for online play.

As long as the chip is turned off (so the stock bios boots) and the stock hdd is in the xbox it should go on live just fine. _________________

I also remember that if your xbox had never been on xbox live with the RETAIL HDD (Smaller drive) then it was fine to go online with the new UPGRADED (larger drive) because the serial number HAD NOT been logged yet.
