I currenly have a modded box, but the guy who did it for me has left town. i have the opportunity to pick up a brand new never used xbox. im thinking about grabbing it and doing the mod myself.
my current box is a standard black release that you could find anywhere back in the day.
The other unit im looking at is a cool blue, i understand that different boxes can be hacked easier than others, i have no idea what the software version is of the blue box. does anyone know if a different colour of box is hack friendly?

Color will not matter it the xboxs VER. that matters.

Is it one of those limited Halo 2 XBOXs or one of the Kasumi-chan's edition? That's the only two orignal XBOXs I can think of that came blue. _________________

Some thing to do with Microsoft allowing the Chinese to better the Game Console and thus the differant Versions the each Console has in it. this was the best it got. _________________ Support A Hard Modder!

its just a limited edition xbox which makes it limited edition is just the case everything else is the same. dont know if the power cord would be the same if it came from japan but thats basicly it. _________________ The one the only Scarface!!

Just because you have a black xbox now, doesn't mean it has to stay that way. Why not get yourself a skin, or some LED's to brighten it up. Perhaps even a new jewel.
