I recently modded my friends xbox using sid 5.0 and aid 4.1, installing XBMC. It worked fine at first but every now and then the picture would go black and white, and now it is always black and white. We have tried it on different tv's but no luck. I'm not sure what version he has got, think it's a v1.1 from waht i can remember.
I have soft modded 2 other xbox's fine with the same disks, what could the problem be?

Might not be the mod at all. Have you tried diffrent audio/video cables? _________________

That is my next step. I'm gonna lend him my lead and see if it works. If that don't work i will see if restoring it to it's original state works and then re-mod it.

My cables fit tight as hell on the tvs rca jacks and i hve seen them pull the rca jacks right off the back of the tv, try a diff set of jacks on the tv or a diff tv. _________________
