hi
i just chipped my old black xbox (v1.4) and it works like a treat everything works no problem in this one but i bought a new crystal xbox and tried to be a bit more ambitious by trying to put a 200 gigabyte hardrive in and put a executor 3 chip in (which cost me £60) it seemed to be working then i tried to transfer xbox media centre and some dvds then i started to hear a stange noise coming from my xbox and when i looked the chips led red light just blanked out it does this every time i try to transfer stuff anyone have this problem or if nobody has can anyone help on my old xbox i have an executor 2 chip i am considering taking it out and try putting it into my new xbox ansd see if that works

can anyon e suggest anything to help me

It's a bug with your current bios.

Switch to X3 Bios Build 1879 .

They have FTP fixes with this bios.

Hey Strachan!

Just for the record, which BIOS was giving you problems? Did you try 1879, as RM suggested? If so, did it work?

Just found this on www.teamxecuter.com .....

"X3 Bios 1892
I think we nailed pretty much every bug reported now. Obviously something new will be discovered but we've released an updated build on average every 2 days over the last week due to our users amazing input - thanks !

We recommend ALL X3 users update to this version. "

Geez...that was fast..HA. Either I missed that one or wrote the wrong bios number. Or, they are having loads of bugs and coming out with an updated bios every four hours!!!

I had a feeling there would be some issues off the bat. I am sure they will have them ironed out real soon though. They are a top notch company. That Http flashing is sweet!
