do I first have to download 4.11 update and then I can update to 4.12?
in what order does it need to be done, apply the Lite patch at the end?

If you want the full pack you should get aid but if you want to keep aid lite get aid 4.11 and 4.12 and just add the lite updates in order 4.11 then 4.10 and add them all to the 4.10 lite iso. _________________ XBMC SVN guide

im in the same oad, i tried burning the regular version but the xbox wont read my dvd so i want to downlad the lite in a cd so i downloaded the aid 4.10 lite and aid 4.11 and i used the aid iso updater and added the addon packs and than i added the AID4Lite.Update.Patch.v4.11 and than i added the aid 4.12 addon packs and than the AID4Lite.Update.Patch.v4.12 is this correct?

yea i just downloaded the 4.10 lite and put the 4.12 addon packs than i added the 4.12 litepatcg but when i try to burn into a cdrw it says not enough space...i have dvds but for some reason my xbox wont read it today

Don't use all the Addon packs for 4.12, just start with the 2 update packs (4.12 and 4.12 lite). is that a typo, you mean 4.12 ?
also, you mentioned that DHCP was missing in 4.10, but I see for the Lite version a folder 'DHCP Patch' ? (I've added it once to the iso, but I got an error at end of install of Evo X, so I went back to original iso (could be that cd was the cause, maybe badly written cd or so...).
so I first add the DHCP Patch, then the 4.12 Update Pack, then the 4.12 Lite Update Patch ?
downloading the 4.10 full version right now, same deal there?
