Alright guys my buddy has an xecuter 2 lite chip in his box he says I can have it for $15 bucks if I wanna take the time to get it out. I was wanderin if you guys think I should get it or not. I wanna get it for this Xbox I just got for $20, I wanna keep the project as cheap as I can. Also if anyone has used or uses one of the x2 lites I was how good of a quality is the chip it is as I haven't had very much experience w/ them. _________________

Yes buy it, thats a grate deal for the chip.
I use the x-2 ce lite and love it best chip next to the x-3.

Is it just me wes or are you like the only person who replys to my posts?? lol Yeah I knew it was a good deal just wasnt sure how good the X-2 Lite was. BTW will any X-2 bios work or is there a diff one for the X-2 lite? I assume any would work just dont want to try and mess it up along the way. _________________

The one i use is the 5035 It seems to be the bios of choice around here for the x-2.
I got the time to take qustions thats why i answer so maney.

Yeah waiting defenitly does suck. I have been tryin to get this HD in my Xbox for like 3 days and its drivin me f**kin nuts I cant even plat a Xbox game on it till I get it workin cause the DVD drive is trashed. Its not like it matters cause I have 3 others I could play on, but its b.s. cause I just got the thing and wanna play a damn game on it, you know what I'm sayin. O well I'll hopefully have it workin in the next couple days. Got me another bad@$$ deal today gettin me another v1.0 with a Xecuter-3 chip and a 150GB HD and it comes comes with 70 games for $100 . Don't you just love the great hookups. _________________

If you got that maney xboxs rolling in why do you care about the one thats mucked?
If its not my main xbox its sold and if it dont work right its parts.

Dude when he was tellin me what all he did to the box, I already knew it was chipped and had the 150GB as I'm the one them put it in, but he added pretty much the full list of case mods and then he told me how many games it came w/ I was thinkin great I'm gonna end up payin $400 on this thing cause I can't just pass up that many games and another 1.0 w/ the X-3 and then he told me the price and I almost teared up because I was so happy. The only reason I care about the messed up one Box at all is I because I need one that I didn't put over $600 into for my nieces and nephews to play on. Believe me they have never even seen my baby, I put over $800 in it not including case mods or the one off cable I made to get 4 HDD's in and all the lights, actually I almost never use it in fear of burnin out a HD or scratchin the case or windows. It does get used in though as it has every Xbox game I've ever owned on it. _________________

I play my xbox for at least 4 hours every day for the last 5 years.
Got lucky and got good parts i guess.
If yours has 4 hdds whay wold you think about one burning up, I got 1 300gb in mine and that works grate.

Don't get me wrong man I use my Xboxs as much as I can. My box w/ 4 HDDs has a custom cable I made to work w/ the Extender case its only supposed to use 3. Each HD boots seperatley and I can only run one at a time it basically just resets the box and switching between them is sometimes kinda iffy and it'll freezes at the dash. It usually doesnt happen very often but its happens enough to bug the s**t out of me. I do use it every couple of days though since its the one I have all my music and movies on and I have it hooked up to surround sound. Its defenitly not the parts its just what comes along w/ that much mem I mean damn how many Xbox's do you see w/ 2TB of mem.BTW its a v1.0 that I got the day they came out I've had this thing for so long. lol. I always fail to mention this about it but I also did the ram upgrade to it. Just thought I'd mention it. _________________

No nothin wrong wit the deal he wanted $200 but since I'm the one that put everything on it for him he dropped it to $100, u can't charge me for the work I did after all especially when I did it for free. The only reason he wanted to get rid of it is cause he needs $$ for rent or him, his ol lady, and kids get evicted. He's also sellin a 300GB external HD for $40 has about 60 games on it, I didn't want it cause they're all dowloaded from torrent sites, and he also has a few other things for sell. And yes wes it is a powerhouse of an Xbox, I had alot of extra cash around when I built it so I went all out. Actually now I wanna try to get four 1TB HD's in it. If I can get the time/$ around to do it I'll let u know how it works out, and I might end up w/ a couple 500GB HD's to sell. BTW the extra ram does help N64 and a few other games work better. I thought I'd throw this out there too this box was already able to play 007 Goldeneye perfectly on N64, figured I'd drop it in here since I've heard most people say it doesn't work right and talkin bout N64 reminded me about it. _________________
