I am having some serious problems installing games on my Evox here lately. I have a lot of games on it and have put them on there. Everything seemed to work fine except for the occaisonal ones here and there that wouldn't work. Now it seems like everything I download won't work at all. I'm sick of downloading these huge files and then just throwing them away. So if I can get any help it would be appreciated.
For some info I am using the normal FTP that is just standard for it (I guess?). and the errors I'm getting are as follows...
"An error occured copying file to FTP server. Make sure you have permission to put files on the server.
Details:
200 Type set to IMAGE
502 pasv not implemented
200 Type set to IMAGE
200 Port command ok
150 Opening BINARY data connection for F:\Games\MLB 2k7\vcdata\A

Yeah, I would have to enter that stuff before even doing anything... I wish it was that simple but like I said, I've put games on it before. In doing that I'd have to know the password to it is xbox (as is the username).
I don't use any FTP at all. I just enter the IP to my Xbox in the IE like ftp://xbox:xbox@x.b.ox.IP and that has always worked a lot faster than any of the FTP programs I tried when I first got the thing.

Is there a way where one bad file doesn't ruin everything? Cuz that's the problem. I'll be transferring the game and then it will just give me the error I posted in the original post.
And OG copy, HDD loder, etc... is like German to me sir, lol. I know enough to put stuff on the Xbox, maybe edit the evox.ini file a bit to add things and that's about it.
I'm gonna go ahead and try that FTP program you told me about and see if that does any better...

I think he's downloading the games off the internet and putting them on his xbox, because how else would he have a game on his computer, trying to copy it to his xbox. _________________

Well Wes, I appreciate all the help, but there is a problem with that too.
Plus, you guys are quick to jump to conclusions but I guess that's what I would think too. So here's the problem of why Wes' solution doesn't work. I either buy a game or borrow it from my friend. I rip it to my computer and then transfer it to my modded box. The reason is because my disc drive is broke. I even put a new one in but I think I did it wrong or that it just didn't work to begin with. I'm not sure what that problem is but I've been through a lot with that too.
I have a 360 and all that (not modded) but I think there's still some great games on the Xbox that I haven't played yet. I could play them on my 360 but I take my Xbox to work (I'm a security guard so I can play at work) so I like to have them installed on there so I don't have to pack my 360 up because it's sort of a hassle.
So just to clear stuff up, I have downloaded games off of the internet before, but it takes too long. I mean it takes WAY too long so I don't even think it's worth it. Like I said, I still buy games for my xbox and if I don't, I borrow from a friend. My disc drive is broke so I have to put them on my PC (I use UltraISO) and then transfer them to my Xbox so I can play them.
Also, I tried FlashFXP and it takes like nine years. Why is it so slow? When I do it by just entering the IP in my computer it only takes a few minutes. From what I can tell it's just doing the same thing so I don't get why it takes so long.
Once again, I appreciate all the help and sorry if I wasn't real clear about why I can't just put games in my drive and do it that way.

Alright, sorry if I broke any rules or anything but I don't steal games. I did a couple times by downloading them but I decided that was a terrible thing to do. These developers work really hard to put these out and I respect that. By stealing the games, it's disrespecting everyone who put hard work into them and I don't want to do that.
I just don't have a disc drive at moment. I want to get one but when I tried that before it was a no go. The reason I have a modded box is because of all the cool programs I can put on there, plus not having to pack a bunch of games to work with me. I can put emulators and media players on it. It's just a way to make the Xbox even better and I love it.
My thing to do is I usually buy my games at Gamestop, load them on my computer and then put them on my Xbox from there. Then I just use those games to trade in and get other games once I have about 5-6 games to trade.
This is just the only way I know how to play my games. I don't really have another option with having no disc drive.
EDIT: And Wes, I just wanna throw it out how much I appreciate your help. You've been great about this bro. Thanks a lot!

Few things wrong with that. Barrowing games from your friend, putting them on your xbox, and returning them to him is piracy. Also, how can you rip a xbox disk to your comp, a comp cant read a xbox disk because its in the xiso format. _________________
