Ok my problem i is that when i get the executer bios file it showes up as BIOS.BIN now I tryed opening it in XBtool but it sayes somthing about incorrect kernel parameters or sumthing.... But I need to know if I need to modify it or somthing to enable me to flash it to my smartxx chip like change the name or whatever when I go into the flashing menu it doesnt allow me to flash anything but ed@chip witch is just some useless picture of a pengiun... Im deeply frustraited becouse I've had this chip for almost a year and I still cant do a damn thing with it... im soooo confused!!!!

Ok, this is with my v2 of smartxx, EXACT STEPS ARE AS FOLLOWS
1) Load smart chip with quickboot (power not dvd button)
2) Go to Config (Just press up once)
3) Go to BIOS/BANK Config (Press down once after opening config)
4) It'll tell you the size parameters (2mb) and then go to flashing menu (Up OR down twice)
5) NOW you have the menu to find the bios, so either it's in your C drive or E drive or on a CD, in which you click the respective one to where it is, it'll look and display all files.
6) Find the BIOS.BIN so that where it says BIOS: None it'll change to BIOs: BIOS.BIN
7) Change the bank to any empty bank of which you have 7.
Click mirror flash to fit (trust me)
9) "Program Flash NOW!" needs to be clicked, it'll do a half second load and BAM, flashed.
10) exit to the main menu again and then just click the BIOS.BIN Option in the main list.
EXTRA: You can rename that bank to whatever by going to Bank Names which is right under Flashing menu. And if you don't want a bios there,you can delete it by doing Bank Erase right ABOVE flashing menu.

Don't worry about it, he typed as he thought the modchip was, it should just be SmartXX v3.0 chip, not SmartXX 3 chip v3.0. He meant the same thing.
