Does anyone know where I can get custom wad files or a wad editor for Doom? I've beaten all the original ones so many times including ultimate and final doom. I'm looking to either get some new ones or make my own to use with Doomx. If anyone knows anything about this let me know, cause Doom is by far one of the best games ever made. (I guess I'm alittle oldschool) _________________

lol, I fired up Doom the other day to see where it all started! Tell you what, its no Doom 3, but I still find myself getting really involved. The blocky little graphics. The enemies that have 2 poses and bimble across towards you, the EXIT button at the end of each level, lol.
I also have Doom 2, which is sooooooo big, it fits on 5 floppy disks, lol!
I'd also be interested to see if anyone has some wad files for this, much like bongripz, this game's been completed so many times I could play it with my eyes shut!

I know there are custom wads and editors out there, and if I find anything, I'll let you know cloud. Do you have the Doom port for xbox? It lets you load and play all of your wad files. _________________

I've actually got it on both Snes and PC. I can play it on Xbox via emulator I guess.

Theres a Doom port on #xbins called DoomX. All you need to do is load your own .wad files. It was one of the biggest reasons I modded my xbox in the first place. _________________

Might go track that down then. Doom was the whole reason I fell in love with FPS'ers.
That and "Castle Wolfenstein" and "Rise Of The Triad"

I'm really not sure which one is the most stable, I use v2.2 beta and the only problem I've had is that it frozen on me maybe 3 times. Seeing as how I've used it quite a bit I dont think its too big of a problem. There could be a better version I guess, but 2.2 works fine for me. I havent been able to get Triad to work for me, but I really didnt spend much time with it.[/u] _________________

I don't think you can download v2.2 anymore, the url appears to be missing.
