I've been looking to enable the hi-def output on my XBOX. I downloaded the latest built of XBMC (t3ch) which has the ability to toggle those settings. I enabled 480p and 720p along with DTS audio and restarted XBMC. Now all I get is a black screen. It looks like it's trying to display something but I can't tell.

I'm thinking that my TV doesn't support 720p but I'm not sure. The biggest question is how do I get myself back to standard resolution?

So I plugged the RCA cables back in to my XBOX and now everything is back to normal. The problem of course is that I am unable to change the hi-def settings as the HD pack is not plugged in. Is there a way to modify those settings without having the HD pack plugged in?

as far as i know there isnt. but then again i havent done a softmod yet. i believe you mentioned before that you installed XBMC and did the changes there before the black screen... why not reinstall XBMC? the config files should change back to default and you can try not setting it to those resolutions.

can your HD set handle 720p? i know of alot of sets that can only handle 480p and 1080i.
