ok, Noob here Just letting you know, Have read everything before I started, Installed the excuter 3 modchip with solderless adap, All fine and well. I had to put the bank switches to off,on,off,off to boot to the flashbios 3.0.3.. I enabled network and http the bios file x3 3294 v16plus.bin. Click on upload and flash (note that I am still on (off,on,off,off - on the banks)). Now, It went through it's flash process and come to the end and says (Programme Fail) and the from light is flashing green and amber continuasly. Stayed like that for awhile so I turned the xbox off.
Turned it back on and nothing. No signal.
Now I think I have screwed it, Not sure, But one thing is I did not at that stage now how to put flashbios 3.0.3. onto the on,on,off,off bank and my 1.6b xbox will not boot to flashbios 3.0.1.
Is it all gone for my modchip? Will it be just easy to buy another chip or can it be saved?

ok did you try to do a boot recovery from the chip
it should have come with a set of wires with a green wire attached
you will need to attach to chip then solder to ground on motherboard
then do a recovery
you can see the tutorial at mod-chip.com
which mbo do you have 1.5 or the 1.6

you have a v1.6b xbox which means flashbios 3.0.1 will not work which is on banks 1234 on on off off off as well as backup bank power eject at same time
because you have v1.6b you needed to bootup flashbios 3.0.3 thats on banks 5678 then once it boots up change your switch to on on off off off as told in guide
now you can do a number of things
place chip in a v1.0 to v1.6 xbox and reflash it with flashbios 3.0.3 to all the banks or do a hotswap which you will need another x3 or x2 chip install new chip once it boots to flashbios swap chips without turning off xbox
or send chip back to suppler and ask him to reflash it with flashbios
you always flash a x3 with switch set to on on off off off the first time you flash it
