I got my X3 chip installed and soldered, when i boot up the xbox all it does is power upp and down 3 times then stay on. then the red/green light starts flashing and the light on the color on the switch is Red. can anyone give me some help with this please, if possible IM me on yahoo messenger ID is armysapper17. was the box broke when you installed it?? and make sure you do a quick press and the controller should be blue...

no the box wasnt broke, was softmodded, but HD got unlocked, before new one got put in, other then that it works fine

all i can say is check your solder points and d0.. and check for solder splashes..

well i got it working, now when i flash my bios, i dont get the Rox my box logo then goes to the error screen

what bios did you use and which method of flashing?? and what error code?

I believe that we fixed this via IM. It was working last night and I talked to him today and it was still working.
