Problem burning??
Not sure what you mean. Do you mean you're just having an issue with your xbox reading your disk?
If so it has to be your media because the installer is already in .iso format and that is where burning issues usually occur is in the .iso creation.
What program are you burning with? What DVD Drive do you have and what media are you using?

hi SasukeU2,
When you download the XBOXHQ AUTOINSTALLER it is in a ZIPPED/RARRED format to save space..
You should have winrar installed on your PC.. Get it from here:
http://www.winrar.com
Once installed you can extract the .iso file from inside the .zip/.rar files on our site.. Its that easy..
I suggest burning the AUTO INSTALLER using DVDDECRYPTER (free) or NERO..
Just hang in there mate.. Dont get too frustrated..
i've done that, but i will try it again and keep you posted.
thanks

ok now i've burned the iso on cd-rw and dvd-rw and dvd-r but my system still will not read it. Will make a difference if i change the type of cd media that i use? I've read that most people have used memorex and that seems to have worked out for them.
Still staying calm throught all this.

I have been using nero to burn all my stuff as well. It sounds like you need to get some CD-RWs. If you don't know if the blanks you have now are CD-R or CD-RW they probably are CD-R. I tried a few CD-Rs before I figured that out. Good luck!

The problem is the DVD Drive that is in your xbox. Not the plextor, forahobby was I think referring to the DVD Drive in your xbox, not your burner.
Anyway, DVD+R's and -R's should work regardless! I have used them in all three makes, (Thompson, Phillips, and Samsung)
It could also be the bios that you used to flash. What bios did you flash to your modchip?

Okay, well if you have a 1.6 then delete the xecuter because you need the M8. It is the only bios that I know of for 1.6 xboxs.
If you don't have a 1.6 xbox then delete the M8 as it is for 1.6 machines!
If you have the proper bios' properly flashed to the chip, and your machine is still not reading the disks then it has to be a media issue, or the way you are preparing the media.
What modchip to you have by the way?? _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter
