I recommend a program called "ccXGui'. this runs as a program on your PC and uses the xbm protocol. Very easy to use, very easy to customize, and doesn't require using windows netowrking. _________________

if its skipping really badly it means that the network connection isn't fast enough(this is what happens to me, anyways). how are you netwroking the xbox into the network? _________________

Ok, then in XBMC check the xbox information and check what type of network connection you have. If its 10BaseT Half-Duplex, then it will probably be too slow. You can try to replace the cable with something new and shorter.
You can also try to set the QoS settings in your router to giev priority to the port your connected to _________________
i said stuff streamin. so i copied the video filke to the xbox hdd and tried playing it but still lagin like hell.

Clear the cache directories, X,Y,Z. Also clear E:\CACHE\ and then check if it works. if you have AID you can just go in Format/prepare and then click clear cache directories. _________________

Of course you were talking about streaming, thats why I described network fixes.
If the problem is not your network, then the file may be corrupt. If you try others and it does the same thing, try a newer version. What XBMC are you using? _________________
