i've tried loading roms w/ 1964 and the second to last video option, pj64 w/ the last video option and ultrahle (no options provided). it loads the game and then i get nothing for about 5 minutes..then i turn off the xbox and try another setting..i'm getting a little fluster'd , is there something i'm missing/doing wrong?

Clear out E:\CACHE and X:\, Y:\, Z:\ directories in your xbox. See if it works then. Otherwise use a diff emulator for n64 like surreal 64. _________________

i'm using surreal64, but it asks me which emulator i want to use-1964, pj64 and ultraHLE. at this point, i'm guessing that i need to find some sort of game index that will tell me which emulator and rice driver to use for which game. (i cleared out my cache btw)

ok also do ur x,y,z directories of the xbox, then try out a rom in each of them see which works out... _________________

cleared out the x,y,z and got mario kart 64 to load under ultra hle, i'm going to test a few more games, i think the cache drives had something to do w/ it. maybe i need a non stock hard drive as this one is getting full fast.

So you know not all roms work. I'm unable to play Ocarina of time with any settings, but Majoras mask works perfectly.

don't worry about where to find these games. We can't help you. It's not allowed.
As far as the emulator goes, unless you do the RAM upgrade, it's gonna be a bitch to get most of those games on your list to work. 007 is out of the question, as is Perfect dark. The better the graphics for the system, the worse it's going to perform on the xbox.
The RAM upgrade is a real pain to do, so unless you're experienced with soldering and damned good at it; don't.

Just noticed that you got 007 to work... very nice. I'll have to give it a go with UltraHLE, because every time I try and run it; it's slow as hell. Killer instinct is a pain as well, Mario64 I have NO problem running under PJ64 with the Rice 5.61 plugin. MK64 runs great as well. Rush.... heh, can run, but no textures... runs the same on my PC, though... it's weird. Super Smash Bro's... man I wish that worked for me... I have Surreal 64 on my Xbox and i can't get any of the roms to even show up....i have shanged the DIR in the .ini file to the location and still nothing shows up....can some one please help me figure this out.

with those setting smash bros runs great and ocarina is definately playable aside from a few textures like in your house where you start.Also goldeneye does run pretty smooth but the analog is very touchy _________________ Halo LE Xbox
