If you turn the chip off does the xbox boot normal?
It sounds like you may need to flash the bios as well. Any video output?
No all the solderless pins seem to connect ok? _________________

From what I understand about the Hyperx(realhypnotx, wanna comment?) it should be pre-flashed with FlashBios, cause I don't beleive that there is a programmer for this chip.
So, assuming it's pre-flashed, it means that there is something wrong with the chip.
did you follow this? I would try to reinstall if you can and check that all the connections are firm. _________________
yea i followed that completely, i'll just reinstall it again

Definitely somethign with the chip. Your D0 is fine if you have problems when the chip is on. If the D0 was the issue, it wouldn't affect the xbox at all.
So if it frags its a something with the chip or the solderless adapter. Do all the pogo pins sit properly in the hole? We had another member with this problem.
Just so everyone knows, hyperx chips are the same chips as spider, just under a different name. _________________
what do you mean by sit properly in the hole, i only used the E wire and the rest aren't being used, but i haven't cut them off and they aren't touching each other

yes just E and also, this chip was cheaply made, i had to rig it in a gay way to make it work. It does come with flash bios use htis tutorial by me to flash it Tutorial......now, if its still fragging, make sure all the pins are in the whole and none of the pins are sticking beacause that was my problem, i just soldered a piece of wire to the stuck pin, put the chip in, cut the wire where it needed to be(almost even with the mobo) and soldered it, sumtimes it wont turn on and i just pres it down and it works, wich is y i am in need of a better chip!!!! In my opinion, htis chip is garbage!!! PM me if u need any more help with it tho

oh, the pins dont sit in the lpc, and i can't figure out a way to make them sit properly without buying a 30 dollar adaptor, the pins just dont even line up with the lpc so i had to make the hole on the chip bigger and clamp it to the motherboard, but it still isn't fully connecting

well as i said mine was the same plus 1 pin was stuck so i soldered a wire down in the LPC hole for the stuck 1 and it worked, but still sumtimes i have to press down on the chip, leave the washer off, it wont touch the board if its on, and last but not least, i also had to kind of MAKE it fit its weird, just play with it a bit!!! need any more help please please post!!!! _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial
