hey, just wondering if u guys can help me out here....
I got 2 xboxes. xbox1 broke on me but i got the eeprom.bin and all the codes etc(softmodded). I wanna reuse this hd(120gb) from the first xbox without deleting my gamesaves etc. I got a new xbox (xbox2) and i wanna put that hd1(120gb) into xbox2. I got the xbox2 softmodded too but its only with the stock hd(8gb). Any ideas guys? I been searching everywhere and read lots of tutorials but i dont think this has been covered...right? Please help me
I know the alternative would be to flash the xbox2 with the eeprom from xbox1 so i can just put the hd1 into my xbox2. This would be my alternative method if i cant do what i mentioned above.

You will need xboxhdm 1.9
create one xboxhdm disc with eerpom1 and another with eeprom2(from you new box).
Move the jumper position of hd1 to master, hook it up to your pc and boot with the first xboxhdm disc. Unlock the hd1 with the disc with eeprom1. Then reboot using the second disc and lock the hd. Don't generate a password, it will be done automatically. Power off, unplug the hdd and move the jumper back to cable select.

woahh...thanks for the reply! So i need 2 discs huh.. imma gona try it on my stock hd from my first xbox to see if it works b4 i try it on the 120g version..thanx...i'll get back to u guys..

SUCCESS!! Now Im running my 120gig hd from my previous xbox with all the files left intact!! woohoo, i thought i was gona have to buy a modchip to do this.
[BELOW IS FOR ANYONE ELSE THAT NEEDS MORE INFO ON HOW I DID IT]
I downloaded xboxhdm 1.9. copied eeprom files from my back up xbox1 into the eeprom folder and then created the iso with the bat file. burned the iso onto a DVD-RW using DVDdecryter for unlocking the HD. I used the same DVDRW after i finished with it to create the 2nd disc from the 2nd eeprom files to lock the HD. You people can always use two different discs.
There was one hitch... After I unlocked the HD (from xboxhdm: option 3, then typed 'unlockhd -a') using the Eeprom from xbox1, my HD became FROZEN! (a notice shows telling me my drive is frozen) ggrrr.. I searched a few forums for the answer but they all seemed confusing So all I did was just boot up my pc with primary master IDE set to 'NONE' (this is where the HD NEEDS TO BE PLUGGED IN order for xboxhdm to recognise it). After I booted up with the eeprom from the 2nd xbox and unlocked it, it worked this time (option 3, then typed in "lockhd -a'). Remember to set the jumper on the HD to Master when its connected to the PC, and put it back to cable select when its plugged into the xbox.
