I pulled a Smoooooth one! I put switches on a18 and a19 so I could quadrate my TSOP. Then the Bios.bin that I made didn't work on any of the banks! Is there any way I can recover this without a mod chip?
I have checked all of my connections with a multimeter and they are good.
I'm just about to make a "homebrew chip" from an old computer BIOS, but I'd really rather not solder 32 wires to my Xbox.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's what I figured.
I was hoping that there might be a way to link another XB through the LPC and flash or something like that.
Thanx anyway! _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

OKAY NOW... I got a mod-chip(Aladdin Advanced 64) and installed it. It works! But I still can't reflash(through Slayers disk or EvoX) the TSOP! I spent hours going through page after page, Tut. after Tut. and not coming up with a whole lot except, it can't be done with an LPC-mod. Is this true?
I tried:
1. Booting then removing chip.
2. Booting then thinking about removing the chip. (didn't help)
3. Booting and removing chip at 1 sec.
4. Booting and removing chip at .5 sec.
5. Booting while holding the power button for 3 sec. to enable flashing, and not removing chip. It worked!...but only for the chip ...but, I don't want to flash the chip ... I want to flash the TSOP.
(I wanted to come up with a suitable phonetic statement to show my frustration...but, I couldn't. So, this will have to do.)
AAARRRRRGGGG!!!!!
(I almost feel a little better.)
Can someone Please help me? _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

once your tsop is screwed, game over that chip is done and will not work again. _________________

as long as it's not fried you should be able to reflash it, but it will require you to have the 2 bridges linked and some other work with a modchip.
there are some tutorials out there that explains how to do it, but they are tricky.
Now, if you don't want to go through all this, just keep the chip installed and that's it. _________________ Xbox v1.1

All of the Tut's that I found on XB-Scene said that I needed to connect several points at different times during the boot, or use a homebrew chip with a switch to turn it off, and then flash. Which I may end up doing that...But it's Twenty-NINE WIRES! Uuggg! _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

Exactly, so just keep the chip, it won't do any hard, at least it's a live xbox. _________________ Xbox v1.1

If you are talking about the A18 and A19 being grounded, I already did that with the switches.
Are there any other ideas? I'm open to anything.
I really appreciate all of the support everyone is giving! Thanks ALL!
BTW: When I get that V1.0 TSOP from Impwiz, I'm planning on setting it on top of the other TSOP to try and get it to boot. Does anyone think that this might work? Does anyone know a reason it wouldn't work? _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!
