Hi, I'm new in all the XBOX stuff, so I need help. I'm just bought a XBOX (MFG. DATE: 2003-05-20) with de modchip xecuter2 (don't know exactly what version lite or pro) and the chip enter directly to the game (no additional or alternative dashboard instaled). I want to see my DVD movies (back up's) with my XBOX and have another dashboard( to connect the XBOX with my PC under FTP ). So what do you suggest?
PD: I don't know what XBOX version I have ( anyone knows which version is? by the MFG DATE?)

Welcome to xbox-hq! Glad you stopped by!
Here is a way to find out what version you have, there are a few methods and this file was just updated recently.
You will want to install a dashboard as your default dashboard, do you know what bios you are running? If you are running a legal cromwell bios then you will need to load a hacked bios first, then I would suggest using an autoinstaller to install your dashboard and apps.
