In the X-OS v2.3.0 you can choose from some neat LED features. When some of them are selected and doing their thing fading from one color to the next, when you go and launch your bios from the chip the wrong color will show up on the Xternal LED. Example: My M8plus_16 bios is blue for the led and it'll show up whatever color it wants to if I launch it while the led is doing a fade. put some electrical tape over the led ,
you wont have to look at it anymore ,

There is some talk that the handoff from the OS to the bios is too short and if you hit it during a fade or color change that takes priority so the last LED lit is what you get. But I think what happens is it ignores the Bios entirely. Because I can make a single color LED file and the bios will still show the color of the LED file.
Now the new Xenium Gold is coming with a new OS and the changlog does mention that there has been a change to the task switch so we will see if that fixes it. I don't know if the new OS will be just on the chip or if it will be available for download right away.
