i am doing my friends xbox for him and i installed a softmod but was only picking up on 36gigs of this 250 gigger well i had him buy a 2.6 CE and i just installed it and i must say was very simple. but i still am only getting 36 gigs recognizing and yes i installed the 137+ version of the bios...
what is wrong???

You probably setup the hdd before you had a bios that supports larger hdd's..
So you will need to re-format the G:\ partition by itself no that you have a bios that ssupports the largest drives.
You can do this using Auto Installer Deluxe v2.11 (http://www.aideluxe.com).
Once you format the G:\ only drive it will be available.
in auto-installer deluxe 2 i go and click format G and yet i still have 0mb in the g drive and like 24gigs in the F... could it be partitioned wrong i used xbox-tools or whatever that boot cd is... ive never had tis problem before but ive never done a large harddrive so i dunno... is there a special way to partition it???

i think i may have selected the wrong bios i used 512k.x2.4981.67.fc.ef but i didn't think i could use the higher bioses but when i use the partioner on the xbox its tells me that LBA48 isn't supported and to get a new bios

once get get the EVOX M8 bios (WITH LBA SUPPORT) flashed onto your modchip you will have to format prbably F:\ and G:\ individually so that you get all your drive space.
Also, make sure in whatever dashboard you are using that you havce G: DRIVE ENABLED in any options..
