I'm finally about to update my Xenium's OS to 2.3.0 from 2.0.1 . I'm a little nervous about it cause of all the troubles people have had with the procedure. I've got a v1.6 Xbox. Not sure if it's a 1.6b, hope not (don't think it is though). I read about all I can on how to do it from teamxodus.com forums and the tutorial by dangerouslycheesy. Just a couple of questions I have before I get started.
-When I unRARed XeniumOS_2.3.0_hdd I got a folder called Recovery HDD with another folder and files inside of it. I know I need the recovery.bin, but what do I do with the other files and folder? Should I just FTP the whole folder to E:\ or just the recovery.bin or what?
-Where do you put the skin folders for the XOS at? You know the ones from the XeniumOsSkinpack1...
PS: Is there anything else I should know about this (Tips)? I'm going to unlock HDD with EvoX+3935 before starting. If you are going to update from the HDD then you need to ftp recovery.hdd to your xbox. If you are going to update from disc then burn the recovery.bin to a dvd and put the disc in the drive. Then hit recover from the xenium menu and it will say got from cd. That's all you need to do. _________________

You must of used the cd method because you don't know what I'm talking about. I'll try to explain again. When you unRAR the HDD version of the 2.3.0 update you get recovery.bin and a folder of led files and reset to factory defaults bin file. I'm asking what I do I need to do with all the other files and folder that comes with the stable download. Recovery.bin obviously needs to be FTPed over, but what about the rest of the files? The instructions for the Xenium Led folder is on TeamXodus.com and I responded to your post there as well. So are you saying that updating from disc is best then?
