Stupid me renamed the dashboard file "xboxdash.xbe" to "msdash.xbe and now Xbox thinks the file it needs is gone so it wont boot. Anyone know how i can access the harddrive to rename that one file. Ive thought about taking the harddrive out and putting it in my computer as a slave drive and accessing it like that. Might that work?

Any help is greatly welcome!

You might simply consider using AID to reinstall or you can change the bios to search for your renamed file.

How can i change the BIOS if i cant access the xbox? Ive tried FTP but since Evox can load FTP wont work I wouldnt mind reinstalling (love to update to a newer version) but Im not sure where to find the auto installer.

Sorry, never gone this deep into the Xbox before.

How can i get the bios from my xbox and go that route. I dont like bittorents and bittorents dont like me. I pretty much just need to somehow get into my harddrive to rename that one file.
