just wondering if the pal xbox from germany would work on uk ? and will pal uk games work on it.

Different PAL types use different video bandwidth and audio carrier specs. Common types are B, G and H; less common types include D, I, K, N and M. The different types are generally not compatible.
Germany is PAL B/G and UK is PAL I
Now, whether this actually helps...ha, I don't know. It seems that they wouldn't be compatible. I am unsure how region free software effects the different PAL types as it seems to be more a compatibility issue and not a permission type issue.
