I spent about 2 hours try to install my chip (trying to get the green LED to light up) to find out that it was working. The LED would only light up for a second as the box turned on and turned off.

I finally decided to see if the cromwell bios came up. What do you know, it did.

The chip was obviously working despite the green LED being off.

My advice, keep your tv on just in case. Don't do what I did.

And use an autoinstaller. They are very useful until you get your bearings.

Hey guys

i'm having another problem...my 80G HD is too small! damn, i knew i should have gone for a larger one. Very Happy it's ok though, the 80 was on $28. can't go wrong with that for the time being.
