Hi guys,
Any members with over 50+ posts please feel free to apply for the position of News Administrator..
DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE TIME FOR XBOXHQ!
We currently have 'bcossette' and 'shark2th' as our news admins and both were doing a great job but unfortunately it looks like bcossette and shark2th are too busy lately to help with the news.
If any of our members are genuinely interested in this position could yuo please contact us.. We need a user to add the latest daily news.. Anything they can find really plus upload all the small files which are released daily for xbox.. etc.

Oh dang... I'm here.
Things are going better at the pad. Wife is doing much better now after her surgery, so I've been getting time to be more online than before. Just finished mouth surgery myself.(no joke)
Guess I'd shot it off too much and had to have it fixed.
I shall step up my efforts. I was contributing but didn't wish to step on
bcossette's toes.
There has been a lot of news recently since the new Xbot 360 decided to show itself. There's nothing wrong with help though.

Thanks dude.. I know you have your own stuff on but whenevr you get a chance feel free to submit a news story.. Its taking alot of time for me to get back into as i have unsubscribed from all my mailing lists coz i thought bcossette was going to do it for us.
Its no biggy.. Im sure bcossette is just busy.. But its obvious we still need help! Many hands make light work guys!

i need stuff to do- Its summer time, im out of school, work dosent keep me occupied, but i DO SPEND alot of time coming here to xbox-hq. Also EVERYDAY! im not joking!!! i get up in the mourning and go to a BUNCH! AND I MEAN A BUNCH of news sites for gamers! game industry.biz, IGN, geek, i also keep to date with Tech news *anyone looking forawrd to NVIDIAs Demonstration on the Next gen GPU? eh? i know i am!* Ive also submittwed stuff to this site (only the stuff i thought was important- The first xbox leak specs, and also *unfortunatly* brought the Ourcolony.net desies to the HQ)
I could update ALOT!! i mean, 1-3 times a day! depending on the news that comes out. Im really commited to helping out here, and it seems everytime there's a question i can help out with on the forums Modgod, shark2th, or even you Forahobby jump onto it!! grrr..
i bealive i could do it, and i have aloT!! of time to give,
what do you think?

The more hands make light work.. But we must all MAKE SURE we dont double up on news.. ok..??
Apart from that it would be great to have you around.. I know your here frequently just like myself and many other members.. heheh lol
So why not submit some news if you see we dont have it..
Basically all i do is this.. Go to the homepage of HQ and check that we dont have any similar news already in the database.. It shows all news on hte homepage plus on the righthand navigation..
You can submit images too.. Its simple..
Apart from that just type in the news story or copy and paste from another site and remember to have a NEWS SOURCE.. (its good for google)..
anyway, hopefully we can get more guys intrested in helping too with other sections of the site becuase alot of members have been on HQ for quite a while now.
oops nearly forgot:
Also, we need to really get the latest files uploaded and linked to from news stories..
example:
If a new bios comes out we need to upload to the vip download and then link to it from the news story on the homepage.. Its a fair bit of work but then end result is so nice.. Makes it simple to find. _________________ HQ Network:

Didn't we build a tut on such stuff? I kept all the emails you had sent me, but it's a bitch to do that button stuff. It's cool when it works though.

All you guys with your tech talk and such. Making a guy feel left out especially with the restricted forum. I would have volunteered for news, but my college summer schedule is pretty f*ing crazy.
