Posted: Thu Apr 14, 2005 2:25 am Post subject: FTP problem. Worked before, now it don't!
Ok, I had my Xbox connected to my PC and file shared and all that. Then a day or so later, I tried to file swap again but I kept getting "Connection Timed Out". I re-verified all my IP settings and made sure my firewall was OFF and checked all the cables. Still, I keep getting the same message. Any suggestions?

try deleting config folder for evox or any other dash you use for ftp. config folder is in TDATA...

Hello,
I have the same problem you have, but it's the Xbox's FTP.
I don't know why, but i know it's a little bug in the softmod evox program.
Don't understand me wrong, it's Freaking great, but the Evox version has a bug inside i think!
If you want to use your FTP, just go to XBMC and FTP from there, it's much faster also! don't know why either.
Go to XBMC, settins, network, and change it to static or something, now push back button, xbmc askes to restart, do it and now it does work.
I hope this i the solution your searching for, i was in my case!
