I've been searching the web for the best software for burning dvd's (not game dvd's, just movie), but the majority of the stuff is advertisements. I have seen a lot of "reviews" for 1 click dvd copy as being a top dvd copy program. I've talked to a few people that tell me to use shrink dvd. Anyone who has a program that they think is the best, please post it here. I've searched the site and heard a few different things, but I haven't really gotten a definitive yet. the best way to burn movies is to use dvd shrink it is free and burn with nero 6 ultra if you use dvd shrink it will automaticlly use nero to burn.
If dvd shrink wont rip it i use dvd decrypter it is also free if those 2 cant rip it i have not found anything that will,with dvd shrink you can choose reauthor and only burn the movie. _________________ XBOX ver.1

i agree... i use dvd decrypter to decrypt the dvd movie and rip the movie to my pc hardrive. then i use dvd shrink to compress, encode, and burn the dvd movie to a dvd+r. i will also add that i have used other software like dvdx copy and no one comes close to the quality dvd decrypter, dvd shrink, and nero produce.
the best part is you can get dvd decryter and dvd shrink for free.

I've heard that the quality of "1 click dvd copy" is just as good if not better than shrink, and takes at least half the time if not less. I would be willing to pay for a program that runs faster with awesome quality. Does anyone else have an opinion, or experience with this program? I know you can do a trial version where you burn up to 3 full length DVD's.

Get the trial and search Google for a crack.
I have owned so much software lost the discs then downloaded the latest trial and cracked it to unlock all the features. *cough* never owned the software *cough*

I have DVD X COPY and it is also a one click solution. It is definitely faster for making a single copy and the quality, to my eye, is the same. The only negatives of it are:
It puts a splash screen identifying the DVD as being a back up
It doesn’t overcome all types of copy protection, only CSS
It is only faster if you are making one copy
It will not make a copy of a backup
If you are making multiple copies, you cannot beat the DVD Decrypter/Shrink method. _________________ Xbox Version 1.6

yep - AnyDVD and Nero for me. The guy that made DVD Shrink went to work for Ahead, so if you're used to Shrink, you should feel right at home with Nero.
