Back it up with DVD2Xbox, then play it...

If you are having problems backing it up on your HD you may want to see if your bios is causing the problem, or if you have an older DVD Drive that is missing files due to a weak laser or something.

I have backed that game up on dozens of new machines using the M8 bios, on older machines using the Xecuter2 4983 bios and all have played perfectly.

I even backed it up today on a 1.0 with a 2001 Thompson Drive! I was shocked that it worked with that drive. It must have come off of a rarely used machine.

I have purchased some Phillips drives to replace my older Thompsons.

Use xtool to back it up

Them go menu, games,Halo2 and play it

for some reason I cant play halo 2 or splinter cell 2 on my modded xbox
I have a 1.0 with a xenium ice chip, 80 gig WD Hard drive, 3935 dash, with the m8 bios. it will play on my old retail Hard drive but when I put in my new 80 gig HD the games freeze up at the menu screens as soon as I touch any buttons. It doesnt matter if I try to play it off the CD or off the HD they allways freeze. Please help cant figure it out for the life of me.
