I was toying around with the trainer I have halo2 +10 to see what worked on xlink and xbc. All i found out was that the cloakin worked. does anyone know of any that will work on these places?? I found another trainer +13 but have not had time to try yet.
1. when i host will these work correct?
2. if i enter someone elses game do they work (only the cloak did on my box I was cloaked) but I am unsure if anyone else can or cannot see me.
3. has anyone else tried trainers on multiplayer? and which trainers seemed to actually work for them? _________________ SmartXXv2/4983.06 bios

From what I know trainers only effect the files on your xbox. So thats why if you dont host you see yourself cloaked cause your custom character (color, shield, ect) are stored on your xbox but no one else will see you cloaked and the rest of the features wont work as the files the trainer is effecting on your xbox are not being used since youre not hosting. If you host the cloaking should work for you but not sure about the other features. Not sure if all the files load from everyones individual xbox files or are shared. if you host and they are shared then it should work, but like maps I think whether you host or not everyone loads their own files so the features will work for you (ie cloak) but not effect everyone else. ok i think i got it. soo being said that, if someone else is hosting and they are runnign their trainers, and i have the same ones.... then i may to them be cloaked but not anyone else in the game if they have no trainers.. i think that made sence.
so in other words there is no real way to actually, uh dont wanna say cheat but.. yeah i guess. not that thats what im looking for, but like my friends playin counterstrike online thru PC he has a aimin cheat that works for him, i just thought i wonder if they have anything like that. for halo 2.
Im not saying i condone cheating at all, but am just trying to figure out somethings through this, and how some people get away with some of the things I have seen, and they shoulda been TORN apart with as much fire power that has been unleashed on them and nothing happens to them. and how they do it. I know about the glitches and thats not it, but somewhere some how some people just should be being killed and just dont. what do they have that is different than what trainers do in normal campaing play. _________________ SmartXXv2/4983.06 bios

yea my guess would be theyre not using trainers....at least not the regular ones. they may have hacked the files or made their own trainer or program that effects everyones files on the network....maybe they modified the existing trainers the ones that are out now are for campaign mode only to have fun and explore parts of the map you couldnt before ect hope that helps not a real hacker myself but maybe someone can help you out _________________ Xbox v1.0

thanks man! it also seems they have the same team names also, maybe they are clan?? just boostin their ranks i dunno, just seems fishy to me. for one they all have SOD then their game tag so maybe. others i have seen, well i wont go there. but yeah maybe they have done that and maybe it is just with in the clans but everywhere i look everyone always says aww cheating is not the way to go , true true but ALOT of crap be goin on in them rooms. _________________ SmartXXv2/4983.06 bios

Actully- When school was still in we did a lot of LANS over the campus Network- and i would play with trainers to piss ppl off (mostly the jocks down the hall who thought they rocked at king of the hill) long story short, everything worked EXCEPT for Tiny/huge/cloak
and the NO DEATH trainer only worked agianst small wepons, not agianst plasmas/frags/snipers/ and rockets (splash damage or instant kill settings i fig overide the no death code)

Personally i think any cheats in multiplayer ruins the skill..pro-ban cheating on multiplayer
