Hey all,
Great piece of work DJB! kudos mate..
Just replying to say thankyou for all your sleepless nights mate.. I definately know how you feel..! Im sure you know how many nights i stay up for us all! All those BETA testing stages were definately worth it.
I havent had a problem with any of your scripts at all apart from one little tiny mistake in your config.xml ..
Its just for installing the XSNES9X EMU!
Go into config.xml:
Find where it installs 'XSNES9X' to E: F: and G:
You will notice it will be instlaling to E:\Emulators\XSnes9X\XSnes9X\ what it needs to be pointing to is E:\Emulators\XSnes9X\
Same goes for F:\ and G:\
just thought id let you know..
For the next release can we just add a link to the intro from the AID menu? This should be alot easier and i wont need to recode the intro again.. (i dont have the time).
anyway, keep up the great work djb and cant wait till your AIDeluxe website is finished too.

Thanks for the support Forahobby, as always
Yep I can easily with the config.xml file so it can load the intro as optional (once the AI has booted).
I might even do that for this upcoming 1.01 release, which I'm proud to announce I already have a Polish Translation back.
I'm still currently after these languages (if possible)
German
French
Spanish
If anyone can help please don't hesitate to get in contact with me...

I'll have to check the bug section to see if this is listed, but has anyone had problems getting DVD Region Free for MS Dash to install?
When I try to install it, it basically pops up the progress bar and then quickly disappears.

There was a prob with it, but it was because it was installing a clean xbe file when it was supposed to be installing a fixed file.
Also, the beta test you tried out used the old UnleashX, this is now using the latest which has made this installer so much more reliable (there actually was a problem with >1mb zip files being extracted apparently).
If you check the known bugs and solutions thread you'll see that I've documented on how to repair the problem.
Also, when the v1.01 update patch is released, this will all be fixed by it.

hey DJB don't be to stressed over the few minor bugs found so far. this installer is a godsend. you should see the bug report forum on Suprnova's new P2P program eXeem. now that thing is a big whooping mess only thing i would look for is a second disk containing ROMS for the included emu's

It's not that I'm stressed as such, just a little disappointing when I thought I would have had next to no bugs. Anyways, I think that should about all of them.
I'll just relase my little v1.01 multilingual upgrade pack and it's all sweet
About the roms disk, if ppl wish they could make some add-on packs to go with it, just make sure they go in the right location. If anyone needs help with scripting for an installer menu, let me know. I'll help with that but I don't think I'd bother making a roms disk myself...

Well, I try to make this installer so it would be both flexible for more advanced users, and simple for newbies. Ofcourse reading the manual is a must so you understand what to do...
