well its been a grip since i messed with a original xbox well one of my buds had one that i did up years ago and looks like some kids were messing with the setting or something because nothing is showing up now there shows a evox dashboard on there but does not give me options to boot from the disc or anything i dont know if someone format the hd or what but i burnt aid the latest version full version onto a verb dvd+r disc at 6x i cant go any lower with my burner. Im trying to reinstall the full evox dashboard so i can see if the games are even still on there. do i still need to do the sid and use a game to install it with as i have no game i cant remember what one it is and no memory sticks for the old xbox. _________________ The one the only Scarface!!

If you can use the FTP on Evox, then try to get a dir listing and then work out what is wrong with your current setup. If you can't get FTP on Evox then you will need to get a DVD drive that can read 6x burned discs.
If it has a modchip, then there is no need for any type of softmod.
