Hello,
I am new here. I have my xbox 360 setup to a wired home network via router. I have a windows xp desktop in one room with Media Player 11 that I successfully hooked up. I have a Asus Win 7 Gaming Laptop in the bedroom with Media Player 11 and Windows Media Center. I can not hook either of those up.
I have turned off my firewall and anti-virus software, I set up the xbox media extender and it says ready to use, but when I try to connect to media center on the xbox it will not and says connection failed. When I try to search for the laptop through the xbox detect pc wizard it doesn't find it. I am very confused and NEED HELP PLEASE. On the laptop when I go into Media Player 11 and select the streaming option it doesn't recognize my xbox.
Can someone Please Help Me...
Thank you so much
