Hi, I dug my old xbox out of the bottom of my cuboard today, its all working fine but I can't connect it to flashxp anymore. I used to ftp with my old pc which ran xp, my new one has Vista would that be the problem?
All the settings are fine, I can also ping the xbox fine.
Xbox settings,
Ip. 192.168.1.101
Net. 255.255.255.0
Pc settings
Ip 192.168.1.102
Net. 255.255.255.0
Username, xbox
Password, xbox
Firewalls off, i'm connecting with a cable I used to use. Flashxp says 'connection refused'?
Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Your info lists that you run an X-3 so have you tried to FTP the chip instead of the dash?

The Bios is 2913. I do get the X3CL screen if I hold down the white button.
Its got IP:0.0.0.0 ErrX in the bottom left corner. I went into the network settings,
DHCP: Disabled
Static ip: 192.168.0.3
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway ip: 192.168.0.100
Set DNS1: 0.0.0.0
Set DNS2: 0.0.0.0

If you have a router then set all your hardware to DHCP.

I don't have a router, so to ftp to the chip you'd try to connect on the x3cl screen untill the ip in the corner comes up with something?

Are you sure the cable you are using is a cross over cable?

Yeah, 100% its the one I used to use. Is there any settings in xbmc that would stop it connecting?
Cheers for your help so far.

There is a setting in XBMC to turn the FTP SERVICE on and off.. Go have a look through the system settings and im sure you will find one.. Hopefully you just need to enable it.
