Video Game Violence and Public Policy
by
David Walsh, Ph.D.
& National Institute on Media and the Family

http://culturalpolicy.uchicago.edu/conf2001/papers/walsh.html

Includes:
1. Is the Concern Justified?
2. The Federal Trade Commission Report. (Here is where you find the Clinton Administration.)
3. Legislative Responses and First Amendment Issues. (This is what burdens the Legislature and the General Consumer Modded and nonModded and why should a Legistrator be burdened and visa versa.) here is where you find the war (Also how it concerns not only Domestic but Foreign.) I find this cute.......
4. Conclusion.
5. References

I feel there is no need to be concerned in the preservation of a Video Game it is the Material the Game provides for a user and the Reality and how the user must alternate ones own Reality to enjoy and be good at the Reality of a Video Game much like anything of course, meaning in the Real World.

Now us as Modders there obviously has been Granted the ability to preserve a Video Game, to allow some or more Longevity to be able to kick the $#!t out of that stupid game some other day. But other than that really I don't feel it is the Modders wrong being here in the same world as in all the above meaning nonModder!

TAKE THAT CLINTON ADMINISTRATION < THX FOR KEEPING ANIECA AND AUDRIE MANSPREAD AT BAY.

I dont feel that the link with kids that play aggressive games make the kid aggressive, i think aggressive kids buy aggressive games.

I find my kid here will watch and play some aggressive games and still just wants to play pokemon.

He will watch me play the aggressive games and thay tend to be the ones i love and talk about the most, he will see and hear this and still wants to just play pokemon sonic and the way less aggressive games.

Stop makeing microsoft and sony your kids babysitter and start playing the games with them.

I guess my main point here is ed gein and hitler did not have TV or videogames, so violent games dont make violent men, but violent lives make violent kids.

You have a point here wes213 in all the above, I have a game list to chose from and for the life of me I can't seem to find my self to sit down and play any of them but from time to time I will go out and Purchase a new one sit down put it in, turn it on and even though my mind is PREOCCUPIED by something else of urgency, I can not like before find my self to play even an enjoyable simple Game like the ones you mentioned above. Maybe hopefully I'am preoccupied with the same problematic desire to fore fill what the German Army set out to accomplish but only and I stress In a nonViolent Manor........
