Alright everyone, I been doing alot of reading now that I just got my douX2 GS in my xbox installed. I got it sent to me, someone messed it up and flashed to bank 1 (only for xbox versions 1.6, 1.6b) But bank 0 is still ready to be flashed. Only my question is, what version of the X2 bios should I use and when I get it I want to make a disc for it, and need some help making a good copy as well. Thnakz yall HQ peepz PS the xbox version is a 1.5 I believe.

Might want to look in to the x2 4983.67 bios, 512k version
iIhave not used it but here it works from a few guy's i know.
For disc burning use CD RW if you got to use a cd and if you got a dvd+r or dvd -r thay seem to work better.
Most folks say burn with nero i allways did and seem to have no prob's.

Thats it just the bios and burn to disc? I thought there would be more stuff to put on the disc.

Oh yeah go to xbins or whare ever and get a dummy file bigger the better but yeah thats it its a bios not an OS.
If you cant find a dummy file or dummy file maker then burn a movie and throw the bios in with it, make sure you rename the bios file from (x2 4983.67) to (bios).
Thats all thare is to it.
I think a lot of folks dont mod cuz thay think it's harder then it is.

Ya, just got done burning. Cromwell 2.32 is the bios thats the chip is running. And i'm hopefully about to flash the chip.

All it's doing is spinning in the dvd drive, and all i have are memorex cd-r and a samsung xbox drive.

Cd -R wont read on most xbox drives.
