ok there is this tutorial said that if you cut the black wire and unscrewing one motherboard screw and wire the black wire to the screw and it will make the speed faster i just want to know if this is true and that it most likely wont damage anything

it increases it to a 12v fan mod and they where useing a stock fan it looked liked and i have a 12v fan so if i do this it wont burn the motor up if it worked right?

Well if you just want to increase the fan speed most dashboards allow you to change it in the settings.

i know about that but this gives it extra juice even at 100% it gives it more power
