i put my wireless controller receivers inside box so i figured i could utilize the light to light up empty ports too....the pic looks like ish buts its the best i could get:
if i get a light tonight i will be lighting up jewel later and will show a pic of that too....my jewels already good to go...

The light looks good. Do you have any pics when it is not dark? I would like to see it in the light.

i got it from the source "circuit city" for $10 on clearance....it was easy to install it comes with a Y adaptor and dbl sided sticky something lol....i actually just got blue led lighted "feet" for it lastnight from there for $10 also on clearance and put them on box....i cant take a pic of them right now cause my cameras $%^#&@ broke....but one sec ill see if i can find pic of a friends who has them also
edit: here we go....damn reminds me i gotta get a light for jewel still

havent been able to find the light i want for jewel....so im thinkin im just gonna buy another of the feet kits and use the 4 leds from that instead.....
anyone whos done the jewel mod.....do you think 4 leds is enough? in the pic above of friends box he used 6 i believe....im not sure if 4 will be bright enough.... _________________

Well I did mine with LEDs and I used 6- 5mm and it was ok. and I really like the light up feet that looks sweet. Now just need controller port LEDs and it will look great.

do you mean for above the ports? cause my 2 ports are useless now since i put wireless inside if you mean where the sides glow....so do you think 4 leds will do for jewel? theyre the same ones as feet.... _________________

theres nothing in the 1st and 4th ports though would they still work? how do they come is it just a whole new port that lights up and slides in? cause then id have to steal power from 2 of the ports then wouldnt i?

what im saying is that port one and four arent in the hole....i cut them off and put them inside with the wireless receivers....so those ports are just empty holes which is why you can see light through them from bottom light.... _________________

which would work cause i want power button blue too....
i actually wanted everything red....but i keep getting blue things on clearance for really really cheap lol....i think i want a skin from decalgal too.... _________________

ok its done...well so far...jewel's in and lit up.....now all i need is a skin from decalgirl....and probably port and power ring lights....maybe an hd activity one too lol....
ill try and get a hold of a camrea tomorrow and take some pics... _________________
